For Seekers

Your Seeker Workspace is where you find, save, and decide on sustainable solutions — without wading through greenwashing.

The Seeker Workspace

TIP

Screens show sample data; your workspace shows your own solutions and decisions.

Your workspace at a glance

When you sign in, the Welcome back page brings together:

  • The ask bar — describe what you're trying to solve, right at the top, and go straight to matches with Find matches.
  • Your intent — chips under the ask bar (Buy solutions · Collaborate · Invest · ESG compliance). Pick the one that matches what you're here to do and the workspace reorders around it, with a running count of your saved solutions and open decisions and a shortcut to match.
  • My decisions — the calls you're working through, each with a due date. Mark them done (or reopen) as you go, or Add decision.
  • Saved solutions — the solutions you've kept for a closer look.
  • Discovery journey — your progress through the five steps below.

The discovery journey

VerityBase walks you through five steps: Define needs → Save candidates → Shortlist → Compare → Decide.

1. Define needs

Describe, in plain words, what you want to improve. The more specific you are, the sharper the matches.

Describe what you need

2 & 3. Save candidates and shortlist

VerityBase ranks solutions against your need. Each result shows a match score (out of 100) and a trust label — see Trust & verification. Save the promising ones; your saved solutions become your Shortlist, which you narrow to a working set.

4. Compare

Put your shortlisted candidates side by side to weigh them on what matters to you.

Compare candidates

5. Decide

Record the decision in My decisions and move on. Open decisions carry a due date so nothing slips.

Contact a provider

When a candidate looks right, use Contact on its solution or company page to start a conversation. Every thread you start lives in My inquiries (sidebar → Engagement): open a thread to read the provider's replies and answer in place. You'll see new replies in your Notifications too.

A few company pages don't show Contact — those are listings no one at the company manages yet, so there's nobody there to answer. You can still review and shortlist them.

Keep a Project

For a discovery effort that runs longer than one session, the Project workspace (sidebar → Solutions) gives it a persistent home. Start a project, gather the solutions you're evaluating, keep notes as you learn, and record decisions with their rationale — so weeks later you (or a colleague) can see not just what you chose, but why. When a provider conversation concludes, you can log its outcome to the project too, keeping the whole story in one place.

Evaluating with colleagues? Invite them to your workspace from Organization settings — see Your organization.

The full-analysis view

For a deeper read, the Landscape — full analysis shows where your organization faces the most pressure across impact areas (Climate, Energy, Water, Circular, Nature, Social). Each area pairs a risk with an opportunity and links straight to matching solutions.

More tools in the sidebar

  • Solution library — browse and search everything, beyond your matches.
  • ROI impact and Long-term value — weigh candidates in money-and-impact terms.
  • My progress — a step-by-step view of your journey so far.
  • Insight reports — home for the analyses you run from Reports & insights.

Tips

  • The more specific your need, the sharper the matches.
  • Read the trust label next to each match score — a high score with a Self-reported label means "promising, but not yet independently checked."
